Handcrafted Quality
Each weathervane is carefully crafted by hand, with the decorative feature and spacer balls made from polished copper and brazed together. The cardinal points are polished brass with a powder-coated black steel rotation rod. The result is a beautiful and unique weathervane that will stand the test of time.
Stunning Sail Boat Design
The Sail Boat design is graceful and elegant, with sails that fill with the wind, propelling her across the skies. The arrow length is 56cm and total assembled height is 63.5cm, making it the perfect size for smaller structures.
Mounting Rod & Angled Eave Bracket Included
The Cottage weathervanes are supplied as standard with an Eave Bracket, which projects 125mm (5”) with a 7.5cm square mounting plate. The mounting rod and angled eave bracket make installation quick and easy.
Copper Patina
Polished copper will quickly lose its lustre, developing an attractive patina before finally turning Verdigris after many years. This process can be slowed down by applying several coats of a good quality clear lacquer spray. The polished brass will also naturally discolour in time. A coat of Hammerite will extend the life of the steel rotation rod.
