Over time, the polished copper will develop an attractive patina before finally turning Verdigris, which can be slowed down with a good quality clear lacquer spray. The polished brass will discolour in time, but a coat of Hammerite will extend the life of the steel rotation rod. The weathervane comes with an Eave Bracket, which projects 125mm (5”) with a 7.5cm square mounting plate.
